SleepTone does not collect, sell, or share your personal information. Your sleep data stays on your device.
SleepTone is a sleep sound and ambient audio app published by Apptypical LLC. It plays ambient sounds, white noise, and custom sound mixes to help you fall asleep and stay asleep.

SleepTone stores the following data locally on your device only using iOS UserDefaults and app-group shared storage. This data never leaves your device and is never transmitted to our servers:
Deleting the app removes all locally stored data permanently.
SleepTone does not require you to create an account or log in. We do not collect your name, email address, or any personally identifiable information (PII).
SleepTone does not access your microphone. All audio is played from bundled sound files stored within the app. No audio is recorded.
SleepTone uses TelemetryDeck for privacy-first, aggregated analytics. TelemetryDeck is GDPR-compliant and does not collect personal data. All signals are cryptographically hashed and anonymized before leaving your device. No IP addresses or persistent device identifiers are stored.
Analytics data is limited to: app version, iOS version, device class (e.g., "iPhone"), and anonymized usage events (e.g., "sound played," "mix created"). This data is used solely to understand which features are most useful.

SleepTone offers an optional premium subscription managed via RevenueCat. RevenueCat receives a pseudonymous user identifier and purchase transaction data from Apple (subscription status, expiry date) in order to validate and restore purchases. RevenueCat does not receive your name, email, or payment details — those remain with Apple.

SleepTone contains no advertisements. We do not use advertising SDKs and do not share data with advertising networks.
We do not sell, rent, or trade your information. We share data only with TelemetryDeck and RevenueCat to the minimum extent necessary to operate the app, as described above.
SleepTone is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact [email protected] and we will address it promptly.
Because we do not collect personal data, there is no personal profile to provide, correct, or delete. EEA/UK users have rights under GDPR/UK GDPR. California residents have rights under CCPA/CPRA. We do not sell personal information. Contact us at [email protected] with any questions.
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via App Store release notes or an in-app notice. The "Last updated" date above will reflect any revisions.
