FocusForge is a Pomodoro-style focus timer and task management app published by Apptypical LLC. It helps you work in focused intervals, manage your task list, and track your productivity over time.

FocusForge stores the following data locally on your device only using iOS UserDefaults and app-group shared storage. This data never leaves your device and is never transmitted to our servers:
Deleting the app removes all locally stored data permanently.
FocusForge does not require you to create an account or log in. We do not collect your name, email address, or any personally identifiable information (PII).
FocusForge may request permission to send local notifications to alert you when a focus session or break ends. These notifications are generated entirely on-device and no notification content is transmitted to external servers.
FocusForge uses TelemetryDeck for privacy-first, aggregated analytics. TelemetryDeck is GDPR-compliant and does not collect personal data. All signals are cryptographically hashed and anonymized before leaving your device. No IP addresses or persistent device identifiers are stored.
Analytics data is limited to: app version, iOS version, device class (e.g., "iPhone"), and anonymized usage events (e.g., "session started," "task added"). Task names and content are never included in analytics events. This data is used solely to improve the app.

FocusForge offers an optional premium subscription managed via RevenueCat. RevenueCat receives a pseudonymous user identifier and purchase transaction data from Apple (subscription status, expiry date) in order to validate and restore purchases. RevenueCat does not receive your name, email, or payment details — those remain with Apple.

FocusForge contains no advertisements. We do not use advertising SDKs and do not share data with advertising networks.
We do not sell, rent, or trade your information. We share data only with TelemetryDeck and RevenueCat to the minimum extent necessary to operate the app, as described above.
FocusForge is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Contact [email protected] if you have concerns.
Because we do not collect personal data, there is no personal profile to provide, correct, or delete. EEA/UK users have rights under GDPR/UK GDPR. California residents have rights under CCPA/CPRA. We do not sell personal information. Contact us at [email protected] with any questions.
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via App Store release notes or an in-app notice. The "Last updated" date above will reflect any revisions.
